Special Events Coordinator
A special events coordinator plans, organizes, and promotes events for their client or employer.
The events they're brought in to run aren't usually typical meetings or gatherings: they're more likely to be conferences, retreats, off-sites, away days, fundraisers and other events that need dedicated professional resource to design and deliver.
Special events coordinators are responsible for logistics, budgets, vendor procurement, creative, marketing, and - often most important of all - stakeholder engagement and management.
