Marine Surveyor

About

A marine surveyor conducts inspections, surveys or examinations of marine vessels to assess, monitor and report on their condition and the products on them. They also inspect equipment and any damage caused to both vessels and cargo. Marine surveyors work closely with insurers, and may be hired by governments, private shipping companies, or by courts to assist in legal proceedings as expert witnesses.
