About
Photographers can work as fine artists, wedding and event photographers, or sell their photos to commercial clients.
The word photographer originally comes from the Greek for "drawing with light". Blending art and science, photographers use technical skills and an artistic eye to capture and create moments through imagery - whether people, places, landscapes, food, animals, or outer space.
Photographers may be employed by publications or other media companies, or work freelance. Their work is utilized in a huge range of industries: from fine art to crime scenes; science laboratories to weddings.
