Systems Thinking

Amani was parachuted in to help the engineering team work through some challenges around communication with other department. Once again, her skills in systems thinking made the difference.

Systems thinking is an approach that focuses on the way a system's constituent parts interrelate, as well as how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems.

Systems thinking is based on the belief that the component parts of a system will act differently when isolated from the system's environment or other parts of the system.

Systems thinking as a skill is the ability to perform problem solving in a complex system.
