Master schedulers specialize in optimizing efficiency and productivity in projects. They often work in manufacturing and other production-heavy industry; either working directly with a manufacturer or producer; or being hired via a consulting agency. They design and implement best scheduling practices on projects: creating, executing, and monitoring a schedule management system; evaluating and determining estimated equipment set-ups, cycle times; and liaising with stakeholders across an organization.
