Export Agent
About
Export agents take care of exporting activities on behalf of an individual or company who are exporting goods overseas. Export agents rarely (if ever) take ownership of the goods - they always remain under the control of the exporter. Export agents undertake research, make trips abroad, connect with potential buyers, promote goods and services, and under logistics and documentation.
While some agents have a very broad scope of services, some companies may employ an agent for very specific tasks such as undertaking marketing research or handling the export administration and logistics only.
